A Unique Dinner in Brussels
Isabelo held an incredibly successful fundraiser in February 2019.
A charity dinner, cooked by 25 of the world's best chefs, was held simultaneously across three top restaurants in Brussels - Bon Bon, Bozar and Le Chalet de la Forêt.
Among the world renowned, Michelen starred chefs who generously gave up their time to support the Isabelo evening were Alain Passard (L’Arpège***, Paris), David Martin (La Paix**, Anderlecht), Pascal Barbot (L’astrance ***, Paris) and Emma Bengtsson (Aquavit** , New York)
The biggest thanks goes to Alexandra Swenden of Swenden Creative Studio for conceptualising and bringing the whole event to life.
The evening raised enough funds to feed our Franschhoek kids for a whole year!

A generation of international chefs have now expanded their role in society and redefined their profession by reaching a broader sphere of influence beyond the kitchen. All over the world, chefs have come to understand that they can use their knowledge, leadership, entrepreneurship and creativity to be part of the transformation of society.
The Basque Culinary World Prize was created to celebrate this evolution, celebrating a chef of any nationality who demonstrates how gastronomy can have a positive impact in fields such as culinary innovation, health, nutrition, education, the environment, the food industry, social or economic development, among others.
Each year, Father Christmas pays our special Franschhoek school kids a surprise visit, showering them with gifts funded by Isabelo.
